About POMP Lab.
Welcome to the Photonics of Organic Materials and Polymers (POMP) Laboratory at the Laser and Plasma Research Institute (LAPRI) located on the Shahid Beheshti University (SBU), Tehran, Iran.
Our goal is to advance the research of photonics and optical technology in the areas of organic materials and polymers. Scientific researchs in POMP Laboratory is consist of several fields such as:
– Nonlinear optical properties of organic materials and polymers
– OLED and Solar cells
– Liquid crystal based optical elements
– Biophotonics and bio-spectroscopy
– Induced anisotropy in dye doped polymers
– Polymer-based planar and channel waveguides
